After discovering a mysterious artifact buried beneath the Lunar surface, mankind sets off on a quest to find its origins with help from intelligent supercomputer H.A.L. 9000.

There are three known versions of daybill for this highly sought after Kubrick title. One has sharp red & yellow central artwork, a second red & yellow version (not as detailed as the first) and the final version being this all red one. Which was either printed as a 3rd print run for the first 1968 release, or solely for the soon to follow 1971 Re-release. The Jury is still out on which one and little evidence remains for a final conclusive answer.

Either way, this incredibly rare poster is in wonderful unused condition and only has diagonal creasing to the lower right corner and to the right end of the upper fold line (see close-up) of any real note.
